Overview:
The
New Jersey Family Policy Council (NJFPC) is a Parsippany,
New Jersey based non-profit organization that promotes
and encourages Family values and addresses Family
related issues. Having enlisted the help of experts
in law, medicine, education, media, business, government
and the church, as well as several publications, the
NJFPC strongly encourages the preservation of the
traditional family. The NJFPC aims to bring New Jersey,
one of the highest success rates in the nation of
families that stay together, closer and stronger to
traditional family values.
Project:
With
an existing web site (njfpc.org) used only to display
information, the NJFPC required a more efficient and
dynamic web presence and functionality tool in order
to give their target audience a greater level of interaction,
dynamic online resources, as well as education in matters
concerning the family.
Solution:
Create
a dominant web presence with superior functionality,
which will blend a user friendly layout with high-quality
and aesthetic graphic design that is powered by custom
built cutting edge web software. NJFPC’s custom
solution will allow users to submit information directly
to the Council while also capturing the data in multithreaded
SQL Databases which will allow users to make online
contributions, sign-up for graphical e-mails and newsletters,
volunteering for numerous activities and programs as
well as virtually connecting with other NJFPC members,
volunteers or Council administrators. In addition, the
NJFPC web site will also provide users with the necessary
information about NJFPC including, organizational facts,
family assistance, legislative news, NJFPC programs
and publications and various other family resources.
Result:
The
result is a fully interactive, highly functional and
intuitive web portal that accurately represents NJFPC,
as well as showcasing its mission, goals and needs.
The NJFPC is now able to expand its audience, reach
out to its members more efficiently and effectively,
raise money online and set up a virtual online volunteer
and assistance headquarters.
