Overview:
Sony
Electronics is in the business of selling world class
electronics to the consumer. Before and at the time
these products become available to the consumer and
the marketplace, Sony Electronics PR and Media department
puts forth a concerted effort in getting reviews and
press on the various electronics from editors and reporters
from major publications.
Project:
Enable
the PR/Media Department of Sony via the web, to track
reporters of major publications, loan products to editors
and reporters, virtually create loans and track return
dates as well has have an events section that allows
Sony to get press coverage at major event showcases
across the country. Create a customized eCRM product
that merges together the various departments within
Sony and automates and organizes all their duties and
responsibilities in real-time fashion.
Solution:
We
have designed, developed, host and support a fully scalable
web based software solution built within Microsoft’s
.NET Architecture and powered by SQL databases. This
real-time web based solution enable various departments
of Sony Electronics to interact together, retrieve information,
loan products, keep track of outstanding products, manage
inventory, coordinate events by creating event lists
and tracking attendance as well as stay organized and
share information real-time throughout multiple Sony
departments across the United States.
Result:
The
result is a fully scalable real-time web based solution
that addresses all the outstanding internal business
processing inefficiencies as well as automating day
to day office operations while keeping all departments
in various US cities up to date.
